Network System Engineer

✅ Job Overview:

Role: Install network devices at JD Sports stores in Belgium.

Time per site:

Regular site: 2 hours (install 1 device).

Large site: 4 hours (install around 4 devices).

NSO site: Full day (9:00–17:00 UK time, 8 hours)

✅ Project Scope:

Migrate JD Sports stores from Aruba hardware to Meraki hardware.


✅ Before Installation (Preparation):

Pick up the kit from a local hub (location shared before the job).

Airport kit not on site; needs local pickup.

Fill out a "Kit Collection Form" to confirm you’ve collected the equipment.

Watch the install video and read the manual (mandatory).

✅ Tools You Must Bring:

Label printer

Fully charged phone with internet + charger

Fully charged laptop + charger

Ethernet patch cables:

Regular site: 4 cables (yellow, 0.5m or less)

Large site: 6–8 cables (plus spare)


Step ladder (minimum 3 steps)

Phillips screwdriver

USB-C cable (for console access)

10 cage nuts + screws

✅ During Installation:

Follow the Installer’s Guide and video instructions.

Install and test the devices.

Work mostly independently using the guide.

BlueKong will label the equipment.

After finishing, the site contact and remote team will check everything.

Take a screenshot of the Meraki dashboard showing everything works (for proof).

✅ Work Dates & Locations:

Starts from 2nd July 2025 until 9th July 2025.

Multiple JD Sports store locations across Belgium (e.g., Mons, Liege, Hasselt, Genk, etc.).

Usually two jobs per day (10:00 AM & 2:00 PM slots).
