Data Scientist
Location: Skane County, Sweden - otherwise Sweden.
Contract Type: Initial 6 month contract + potential to extend long-term
Start Date: Mid August
We have an excellent opportunity for a Data Scientist to join a leading and Global Brand, Initial 6 month contract + opportunity to extend long-term.
Key Responsibilities
Data Science Leadership:
- Guide the team in developing and implementing analytical approaches that translate observability and business data into high-value insights.
*Advanced Analytics & Machine Learning:
- Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for anomaly detection, forecasting, and noise reduction.
*Observability & Business Data Integration:
- Analyze and correlate observability data (logs, metrics, traces) with business context using Grafana and Splunk as primary tools.
*Team Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, IT, DevOps, and business teams to ensure data solutions are actionable and aligned with business needs.
*Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor model performance and data quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical leadership role
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and extract meaningful insights
- Experience in GCP environment
