Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. You will play a critical role in troubleshooting network issues, optimizing server configurations, and collaborating with other IT professionals to support the company's technological needs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and software, and will be proactive in identifying and resolving potential challenges. Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable, maintainable, and highly available network architectures.
• Monitor network performance and integrity to identify system requirements.
• Configure and install various network devices and services, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades on network infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with system administrators to ensure seamless integration across platforms.
• Identify network security vulnerabilities and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Create and update network documentation, including network diagrams and technical manuals.
• Provide expert support for network-related issues and offer technical guidance to other team members.
• Research and recommend innovative approaches for network system upgrades and improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in networking.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning by establishing and maintaining backup systems and procedures.
• Facilitate user training workshops to improve end-user knowledge on network use and protocols.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator for at least three years.
• In-depth knowledge of networking technologies, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall configurations.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and client-server technology configurations.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
