The Opportunity:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management and successful delivery of technical projects within the Future Payments portfolio. This role ensures meticulous planning, execution, and delivery of individual projects, specifically focusing on innovative technologies including Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), and other emerging tech. The role aligns project outcomes with AP+ strategic objectives, regulatory compliance, and technological advancements to ensure that AP+ remains competitive and responsive to evolving market and technological conditions.

You can expect to actively collaborate with technical experts, external vendors, regulatory bodies, and senior leadership to deliver transformative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. As the Senior Project Manager, you role also involves proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation, contributing significantly to AP+'s vision of shaping the future of payments technology.

The core responsibilities of the role will include:

• Clearly define the project's purpose, goals, key dates, and expected results.
• Create detailed plans with timelines, resources, and ways to manage risks.
• Oversee technical projects to ensure they are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
• Coordinate work between developers, architects, analysts, and external partners.
• Track progress and share updates on timelines, budgets, risks, and issues with stakeholders and leadership.
• Make sure the project follows all required rules and industry standards.
• Support clear communication between technical teams, business units, and management.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to plan.
• Handle contracts, including statements of work and cost estimates.
• Ensure project processes are followed and report on risks and progress regularly.
• Lead and support the project team, assign tasks, and help team members grow.
• Manage issues and dependencies that affect multiple projects.
• Be willing to attending meetings outside regular working hours if needed.

The capabilities we're seeking are:

• Minimum 7 years' experience in technical project management, ideally in financial services or technology-driven environments, overseeing enterprise-wide projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex technical projects, preferably involving emerging technologies such as DLT or blockchain.
• Proven capability in budget management, strategic planning, and resource allocation.
• Experience navigating regulatory environments, compliance, and risk management.
• Experience in building and managing customer/client relationships.
• Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including vendors
• Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum).
