Introduction

Are you a highly analytical Data Analyst with a passion for data quality, reporting, and bridging the gap between business and IT? For a leading player in the financial sector, we are looking for a driven Data Analyst who wants to grow in a dynamic environment transitioning from legacy systems to modern cloud solutions.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of analysts, developers, and a Scrum Master, where collaboration, continuous improvement, and coaching are central.

This is a 2-year coaching program where you’ll be guided by experienced professionals, with the option to integrate into the client organization upon successful completion.

Your responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the data team to gather and translate reporting requirements into technical solutions.
• Support business needs by delivering structured, cleansed, and high-quality data from various systems and sources.
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions, including examples such as a Customer 360° view.
• Contribute to the transition from SAS-based systems to a modern Azure cloud environment.
• Perform ETL tasks and write complex SQL queries to extract and transform data.
• Cleanse and prepare data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and usability.
• Design and implement data models to support business intelligence and analytics.
• Structure and consolidate data from multiple sources into coherent datasets.
• Document processes and workflows using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).
• Collaborate within an Agile Scrum team to deliver incremental value.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Experience with SQL, data modeling, and data quality.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and preferably experience with reporting tools such as Qlik Sense or similar.
• Knowledge of or strong interest in Azure-based data solutions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills – you know how to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with BPMN is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with a good command of English.
