Junior Data Analyst

Role Overview

As a Junior Data Quality Analyst, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality, actionable risk insights to clients. You will be responsible for analyzing, assessing, and improving the quality of large-scale textual datasets that fuel an AI-driven risk monitoring platform. Working closely with the product, data science, and engineering teams, you will help ensure that clients receive accurate, relevant, and timely data to support their decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize queries for entity matching, entity disambiguation, and event classification to improve data accuracy and relevance.
• Perform ongoing data quality assessments and audits to detect and resolve anomalies, inconsistencies, and gaps within complex datasets.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their data needs and ensure delivered insights meet quality and business requirements.
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate data validation workflows and improve efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot data issues and support product enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in data querying and manipulation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex data challenges and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with diverse teams including engineers, data scientists, and client-facing colleagues.
