The Techy Bits

The Business Fitness products are mostly built with a DDD approach using .NET and C# APIs with an Angular and TypeScript frontend, hosted on Azure infrastructure in Kubernetes.

The Role

As a Fullstack Software Engineer in their Integrations team, you'll tackle a variety of exciting challenges, from ensuring robust, reliable integration across their ecosystem to enhancing their external API's functionality. In addition to owning features and providing a polished, client-facing product, you'll have a voice in the technical direction of their platform.

You will be working in a dynamic environment and will be responsible for designing, developing, securing and operating a range of cutting-edge technologies that meet the needs of an evolving national and international client base.

• Fullstack Development: Deliver end-to-end development for their integrations platform using .NET (backend) and Angular (frontend). Own and maintain high-quality, scalable code that ensures seamless API integrations with third-party systems.
• API Management: Take charge of their external API, enhancing and expanding it to meet the evolving needs of clients and partner systems.
• Collaborative Mentorship: Support junior engineers in their technical growth. Provide guidance in best practices, code reviews, and system architecture.
• Client Engagement: Engage directly with clients to understand their needs, troubleshoot issues, and provide polished solutions.
• Innovation in a Mature Stack: Help keep their platform sharp by introducing new ideas, exploring modern tools, and experimenting with "edgy" projects that align with their roadmap.

What you bring to the role

• Experienced in Fullstack Development: You have solid fullstack experience and can work comfortably across both front and back end.
• Backend: .NET Core, C#, SQL Server
• Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS
• API Development: RESTful APIs, external integrations with third-party systems (SharePoint experience is a plus)
• Deployment & CI/CD: Azure DevOps, Docker (experience here is a plus)
• Client-Focused & Collaborative: You’re able to interact directly with clients and stakeholders, understanding their requirements and translating them into actionable solutions.
• Mentor at Heart: You enjoy sharing your knowledge and helping junior team members grow, seeing it as part of your own growth journey.

🤸‍♀️Business Fitness are a fully remote team, and you can WFH anywhere in Australia. You’ll have the flexibility to work where it suits you, but without sacrificing a close-knit culture -- expect lotsa video calls and even playing online games with your team.
