Position Title: Senior Network Engineer – F5 Specialist
Location: Adelaide CBD (On-site)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 + Super (negotiable for the right candidate)
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

We’re partnering with a reputable Adelaide-based consultancy to find a Senior Network Engineer with expert-level F5 experience for an urgent and high-impact F5 migration project.

This role will focus on migrating legacy F5 environments to new-generation platforms and requires deep technical expertise across F5 technologies, especially Access Policy Manager (APM). You'll be working in a multi-tenant environment integrating with on-prem identity services, such as LDAP and MFA solutions.

This is a rare opportunity to take technical ownership of a complex project while contributing to a collaborative and knowledge-sharing team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of an F5 migration from legacy to modern platforms
  
  
• Deploy and configure F5 BIG-IP modules including LTM, GTM, and APM
  
  
• Integrate F5 solutions with on-prem LDAP directories and MFA systems
  
  
• Work within a complex multi-tenant network environment
  
  
• Provide troubleshooting, performance tuning, and technical documentation
  
  
• Support and mentor team members as needed
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience across the F5 BIG-IP ecosystem, especially Access Policy Manager (APM)
  
  
• Strong background in identity services integration (LDAP, MFA)
  
  
• Experience working in complex, secure, multi-tenant environments
  
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  
  
• Ability to lead from the front while collaborating with internal teams
  
  

Desirable (Bonus) Skills

• Exposure to firewalls, MPLS, or server infrastructure
  
  
• Capability to mentor junior engineers or step into a technical leadership capacity
  
  
• F5 certifications (e.g., F5-CA, F5-CTS) or relevant vendor qualifications
