Introduction
We are seeking a Project Planner to join our Services Beneficiation, Dewatering and Hydrometallurgy (BDH) project delivery team. You will be responsible for supporting the team on complex and critical or high-value modernization projects. Your role plays a crucial part in ensuring things will run smoothly, which will contribute to the success of the Project for both our customer and the company. In this position, you will report to Director, Projects Central and East Regions, located in Australia.
This position is primarily located in Espoo or Lappeenranta, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of Project Management professionals who work closely with internal stakeholders, such as Engineering, Purchasing, Sourcing and Logistics. Our team culture is all about getting it done - together. The members in our team are located for example in Australia, South Africa, and Finland. We implement upgrade and modernization/retrofit projects across the full suite of BDH products/ technologies, being Filtration, Flotation, Thickener, Automation and Hydrometallurgy.

What You’ll Do
- Support the Project Management team in complex and critical / high-value projects across our portfolio of Beneficiation, Dewatering and Hydrometallurgy technology projects
- Attend and document internal and external Project meetings with the project team, customer teams, external vendors, internal production units and the like
- Assist in the migration of BOM from Enovia to SAP
- Ensure Project Information is up to date and accurate in the system (PEXPro)
- Assist Project Manager with ship list migration and setup
- Support Project Managers with financial tracking, reporting and updates
- Assist Project Managers with Lessons Learned reporting
- Prepare and maintain the baseline project Schedule in MS Project format and ensure regular updates
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and track the progress of engineering activities against the plan
- Assist Project Managers with internal and external vendor deliveries and scheduling
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Sourcing and Logistics to help expedite vendor orders as needed
- Assist with and ensure project closeout activities are completed
- You have previous experience in Projects, Project Management coordination and supporting functions
- You have experience using SAP S/4HANA, CPM, Excel and MS Project. Previous experience using PEXPro and Enovia is an advantage
- You are able to work on multiple projects and multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize work accordingly
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Finnish proficiency is beneficial.
- You are an out-of-the-box creative thinker with a strong eye for detail
- You have previous experience in contract administration and vendor management
- You possess a sound understanding of procurement systems, methodology, planning and purchasing
- Knowledge/understanding of Principal Company Model / ETO delivery process is considered an asset
- You are a team player with experience dealing with Global teams, virtual teams of people from multiple locations and cultures
