About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and user-focused UI/UX Designer to join our team, playing a key role in shaping how users experience Minterest. This role will focus on designing intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling user interfaces that make DeFi accessible, even to those new to the space. The ideal candidate will understand the complexities of DeFi and have a passion for simplifying them through user-centered design.

In this role, you will work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to create designs that enhance usability, elevate the Minterest brand, and ensure a seamless user journey across all touchpoints. Your insights will help to bridge the gap between complex DeFi concepts and user-friendly design, driving engagement and adoption.

Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive and accessible user interfaces for Minterest’s web and mobile platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience that demystifies DeFi.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design ideas and reflect a deep understanding of user needs.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and marketing to ensure design alignment with product goals and brand messaging.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user behavior, pain points, and feedback, incorporating findings into iterative design improvements.
• Define and apply visual style guidelines to create a cohesive and engaging look and feel across Minterest’s interfaces, ensuring consistency across all user interactions.
• Design user onboarding flows and interactive elements that enhance engagement and ease new users into the DeFi experience.
• Stay informed about DeFi trends, user preferences, and competitor interfaces to keep Minterest at the forefront of design in the industry.
• Create and maintain design system components to support rapid prototyping and streamline design hand-offs to development.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, ideally in DeFi. Fintech or Web3 are are must.
• Portfolio showcasing user-centered design across web and mobile interfaces, including design samples and process documentation.
• Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Understanding of DeFi and blockchain concepts, with an ability to translate complex information into user-friendly designs.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing, with a focus on identifying and solving user pain points.
• Exceptional visual design skills and attention to detail, with an understanding of color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Passion for DeFi and an interest in making decentralized finance accessible to a broad audience.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Remote work experience; European timezone preferred but not required.
