We're looking for a Design Systems Designer to join our team and play a pivotal role in scaling and evolving our cross-platform design system. You’ll work at the intersection of product design and front-end engineering—crafting consistent, accessible, and elegant UI foundations that power multiple products.

This is a hands-on role where your work will impact the design experience for both users and designers across the company. If you're passionate about systems thinking, atomic design, and pixel-perfect UI—with a love for scalable, maintainable design—this is the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

Partner closely with product designers and engineers to ensure seamless design-to-dev handoff and high-fidelity implementation.

Own and evolve our design systems across multiple platforms and products.

Build and maintain reusable component libraries in Figma—with smart use of variables, auto layout, and tokens.

Create, refine, and document pixel-perfect UI components that are responsive, accessible, and built to scale.

Maintain visual consistency and UX coherence across products by enforcing and extending design foundations (colour, typography, spacing, etc.).

Systematize design documentation: patterns, components, usage guidelines, and rationale—to empower teams to work faster and smarter.

Audit, test, and refine UI components regularly to ensure design-code parity.

Lead and contribute to design system governance, helping teams adopt best practices and maintain high standards.

Collaborate with engineers on integrating design tokens, improving handoff pipelines, and supporting implementation tools like Storybook or Zeroheight.

Use AI-powered design tools (e.g., Figma AI, ChatGPT, Stitch, Uizard) to speed up documentation, QA, and prototyping workflows.

Proactively identify UX issues and offer design solutions grounded in usability and consistency.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer with a strong focus on building or maintaining scalable design systems.

Expert proficiency in Figma—including components, auto-layout, libraries, styles, and variables.

Deep understanding of foundational design systems (colour, grid, spacing, typography, etc.).

Proven experience documenting systems clearly and efficiently for cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards, and best practices in documentation.

Familiarity with design tokens and how they bridge design and code.

Good grasp of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Tailwind), and experience working closely with engineers.

Experience with system design tools like Storybook, Zeroheight, or equivalents.

Strong communication and collaboration skills—you can advocate for your decisions and guide stakeholders toward systemized thinking.

Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to catching design inconsistencies early.

Bonus skills

Experience with ShadCN or other modern headless UI libraries.

Familiarity with utility-first CSS systems like Windsurf or similar scalable tooling.

Exposure to React component architecture and how UI is implemented in code.

Passion for AI-assisted workflows and experience using tools to streamline design operations.
