About The Role

We are looking for a senior Backend developer with experience/interest in Machine learning and DevOps practices.

As our Backend Developer, you'll play a crucial role in guiding our organization through the fast-changing AI landscape. Working within our Tech Forum, you will collaborate with a dynamic group of more than 20 professionals, including full-stack developers, DevOps engineers, and architects.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop scalable backend systems (primarily in Python/Django)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, etc.)
• Lead or support early-stage product development and architecture decisions
• Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and fellow developers
• Represent VNTRS as a consultant on external projects with larger enterprises
• Explore and integrate ML/AI solutions when appropriate, with support from our ML specialists
• Share knowledge and contribute to internal tech discussions, tools, and standards
• Work closely with the Head of Tech to align AI initiatives with company objectives
  
  
  

Who You Are / Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, specifically backend development
• Strong DevOps experience: CI/CD, cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred), Docker, Terraform, etc.
• Solid experience with Python (especially Django)
• Comfortable working across the stack when needed
• Familiarity or interest in ML/AI. You don’t need to be an expert, but you’re not afraid of the buzzwords
• Excellent communicator and problem solver
• Experience working as a consultant or with different projects/products
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Comfortable in dynamic environments and working closely with clients

• Experience with ML pipelines, MLOps tools, or vector databases
• Experience in startups, venture studios, or fast-paced product environments
