About The Role

We are looking for a senior Backend developer with experience in Machine learning and DevOps practices.

As our ML/AI Backend Developer, you'll play a crucial role in guiding our organization through the fast-changing AI landscape. Working within our Tech Forum, you will collaborate with a dynamic group of more than 20 professionals, including full-stack developers, DevOps engineers, and architects.

Stockholm - Hybrid/on-site, not fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement backend solutions that leverage existing ML/AI technologies to address business problems and enhance product capabilities.
• Actively contribute to the VNTRS Tech Forum by sharing ML/AI insights, setting technical standards, and participating in strategic planning
• Work closely with the Head of Tech to align AI initiatives with company objectives
• Lead software development projects, integrating and utilizing existing ML/AI technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing products and workflows
• Represent VNTRS at industry events, showcasing our AI capabilities and fostering connections in the ML community
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience within software development
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong technical background with some knowledge in machine learning, deep learning, and AI technologies
• Strong proficiency in backend development, specifically in Python (Django)
• Experience with DevOps practices
• Experience working with end-to-end solutions
• Experience working with databases such as SQL, NoSQL or Vector DBs
• Previous experience in a technical consulting role
• Familiarity with big data technologies
• Familiarity with cloud-based ML services such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment
• Ability to explain and reason ML concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  
  
  

Meritorious

• Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Familiarity with MLOps tools for model deployment and monitoring
• Previous experience in a senior position within a tech startup or scaleup
