We are currently representing a regulated cryptocurrency platform headquartered in Luxembourg, with a global presence across Asia, Europe, and the United States. The platform is licensed by the CSSF.
As the Head of Compliance, you will lead the compliance function in Luxembourg, ensuring the platform operates in full alignment with applicable laws and evolving regulatory frameworks. This is a strategic leadership role that requires close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulators, banks, and law enforcement.
- Lead the second line of defense and collaborate with senior leadership in Luxembourg, the US, and Japan
- Develop and implement a scalable compliance strategy aligned with business growth
- Oversee AML and KYC frameworks in accordance with EU regulations
- Monitor and enhance the effectiveness of the compliance program
- Maintain and update internal policies, procedures, and documentation
- Track regulatory developments in Luxembourg and across the EU
- Report regularly to Authorized Managers and the Board of Directors
- Ensure consistency in compliance practices across global operations
- Represent the company in regulatory and banking relationships
- Participate in internal and cross-border projects to align compliance efforts globally
Education & Experience
- Degree or certification in compliance, risk management, or law
- 8+ years of experience in compliance within a regulated financial institution, fintech, or legal/audit firm
- Proven ability to design and implement compliance procedures
- Familiarity with EU AML, payments, consumer protection, and governance regulations
- Experience or strong interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency is a plus
