Java Developer | Stockholm | End-User | Medical Sector

An innovative end-user company within the medical technology sector is currently looking for a Java Developer to join their in-house engineering team in Stockholm.

The company is looking for a developer who can take an active role in building and maintaining backend services that power critical medical applications. You will work in a cloud-native environment, leveraging AWS services to deliver robust solutions for healthcare professionals and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Java 21+ and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement APIs to integrate with medical systems and devices.
• Work within an AWS environment, utilizing services such as Lambda, RDS, S3, and ECS.
• Build and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes, automated testing, and code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, QA, and cloud teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Requirements:

• Strong background in backend development with Java (ideally Java 17+ or 21+).
• Experience working with AWS cloud services.
• Solid understanding of Spring Boot and RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Commitment to clean code, testing, and modern development practices.
