Data Scientist (Within AI)

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join a cross-functional team and support the design, development, and deployment of scalable and reliable AI solutions in collaboration with our clients internal teams. The role is focused on solving commercial problems with tangible business value, such as recommendation systems, churn prevention, and other AI-driven use cases.

Start: Preferably ASAP, (August could work)

End: 2025-12-31 (extension possible)

Location: Stocholm or Helsinki, min 2 days/week onsite

Assignment Overview:

The consultant will work across the full AI lifecycle—from initial problem exploration and model design to deployment in production—while engaging with key stakeholders. The role requires a deep understanding of data science, machine learning, and the AI tech stack, as well as experience delivering solutions within complex organizational structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams to design and build scalable, production-ready AI solutions.
• Explore and solve commercially relevant problems such as churn prevention, recommendation systems, and other business-driven use cases.
• Develop, train, test, and deploy models into production in a cross-functional team environment.
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders across the entire AI lifecycle, from initial scoping to deployment and monitoring.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, stakeholder engagement, and the continuous improvement of data science practices.
  
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working in advanced data science or AI teams.
• Strong understanding of the AI tech stack, including machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and tools for data processing and model deployment.
• Proven experience implementing end-to-end AI solutions, including deployment to production environments.
• Deep knowledge of the data science lifecycle, from PoC to industrialized, scalable solutions.
• Previous experience in a consultative role with a focus on delivering value-based AI solutions.
• Background in regulated industries is required; experience in the financial sector is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or other relevant data-centric disciplines.
