iOS Developers are involved in the analysis, technical design, development and testing of mobile applications for the iOS platform.
iOS Developers are mainly responsible for:
- Building, deploying, testing mobile apps and releasing them to the Apple App Store
- Contributing to project analysis processes in collaboration with Project Managers, Analysts, UX Designers and other team members
- Applying designed user-interfaces with a pixel-perfectionist developer mindset
- Ensuring the usage of best development optimisation techniques
Desired Skills & Expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field such as Computer Science, Engineering etc.
- 2+ years of experience developing native iOS applications
- Experience w/ object-oriented programming & design patterns
- Demonstrated knowledge of techniques and programming languages of Swift and Objective-C
- Strong understanding of testing best practices and familiarity with at least one testing framework like XCTest
- Knowledge of service oriented technologies such as RESTful APIs and security principles
- Experience with CI (continuous integration) and knowledge with industry-standard tools such as Fastlane, Jenkins or Azure Devops
- Familiarity with Javascript ES6, CSS, & HTML5 is a plus
- Experience in React-Native is a plus
- Evidence of providing leadership to small and medium-sized development teams is another plus
- Good command of written and spoken English
