🚀 About the Role

We’re looking for a Backend Golang Developer to join a fast-growing, well-funded European start-up that’s reinventing cybersecurity awareness training through AI, automation, and real-world simulation.

You’ll be building backend systems that power a smart platform used by companies across Europe to protect their employees from phishing, social engineering, and emerging cyber threats.

This is a hands-on role where your code will impact thousands of users and help eliminate human error—the #1 cause of security breaches.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

• Build scalable, high-performance APIs and microservices using Golang
• Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform
• Use Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and deployment
• Work with PostgreSQL, Firestore, and other modern databases
• Optimize performance and reliability for a growing global user base
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, product managers, and frontend engineers

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience with Golang in production systems
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud environments (GCP preferred)
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Firestore, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and best practices for backend infrastructure
• A problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Bonus: experience in security tech, AI, or SaaS platforms
