Role: Native Android Developer

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Type: Contract

Must Have Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Native Android Development within an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in Kotlin for Android development.
• Strong experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Expertise in integrating RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of testing frameworks and methodologies for Android applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop & Maintain Android Apps: Build, enhance, and optimize Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for modern, efficient UIs.
2. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with UI/UX designers and backend developers to integrate APIs and deliver high-quality app experiences.
3. Code Optimization & Testing: Ensure app performance, scalability, and maintainability by writing clean, testable code and performing rigorous debugging.
4. Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices to improve app functionality.
