For our Exact Online Bouw development team in Leeuwarden, we are looking for an enthusiastic, talented Back-End PHP Engineer. Someone who gets excited about new ideas and techniques in the field of back-end development and ensures that our micro services function optimally.

The office and construction site use one central system where the accounting is fully integrated and seamless integrations exist with many business apps. The Development department of Exact Online Bouw is known for its creativity and innovative power, which enables it to translate the high demands of customers and the market into an easy-to-use web application with an attractive visual appearance.

We consist of different SCRUM teams, for Front-End, Back-End, and Mobile, that work closely together and, together with our product managers, are responsible for the development of a part of the application.

Skills

With us, you can be yourself, and we would love to discover what sets you apart. For the position of PHP Back-end Engineer, it’s helpful if you have a sense of perseverance. And preferably you have a technical mindset, an eye for quality and good communication skills. What’s more, you bring:

• At least MBO+/HBO level of thinking and working;
• A strong sense of responsibility and ownership;
• A positive attitude and the ability to be critical and thinks in solutions;
• 4-5 years experience with PHP
• Good knowledge of Symfony or Laravel;
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and MySQL
• Experience with writing and maintaining unit tests;
• Up to date with the latest techniques and standards;
• Problem-solving skills using accepted best practices and principles such as SOLID and design patterns;
• Good communication skills in English
• Residing in the Netherlands
