CompuCal Calibration Solutions is an engineering-based calibration management software development company. Our in-house expertise spans over 50 years in the engineering industry. 

We provide calibration management software, configured to integrate into other systems and thereby offering a complete solution for our clients. Our customers are from a wide range of industries, such as Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Food and Beverage, Oil and Gas. 

Job Specification:

CompuCal are looking for candidates with a minimum of three to four years in .NET Development Technologies Forms/MVC/APIs/etc.. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and have excellent attention to detail.  Candidates must be self-motivated and be able to work on their own accord. The candidate will be working within a small team and will be expected to take on key responsibilities from the start.  Candidates are required to work from the Cork Office. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET  
• Develop responsive front-end interfaces using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (including preprocessors like SASS/LESS if applicable). 
• Implement and integrate with RESTful APIs for internal and third-party systems. 
• Design, write, and optimize queries and procedures in SQL Server 
• Collaborate with team to deliver high-quality software. 
• Participate in code review, and continuous integration/deployment processes. 
• Maintain and improve application performance, scalability, and security. 
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues across the stack. 



Skills Required:

• Strong experience in MS ASP.NET/Core Technologies  
• Proficient in JavaScript / HTML5 
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles. 
• Strong experience in SQL Databases (MS SQL and SQLite) including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. 
• Strong understanding of Web Application deployment 
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration.  
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Excellent team collaboration and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to create and adhere to Detailed Design Documentation 
• Ability to self-motivate and work on their own initiative
