Job Specification:

CompuCal are looking for candidates with a minimum of three to four years in Mobile Development Technologies within .NET MAUI/Xamarin or Flutter/Dart spheres. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and have excellent attention to detail.  Candidates must be self-motivated and be able to work on their own accord. The candidate will be working within a small team and will be expected to take on key responsibilities from the start.  Candidates are required to work from the Cork Office. 

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform applications using .NET MAUI and/or Flutter/Dart. 

Build, test, and publish apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Integrate local data storage using SQLite and manage data synchronization with backend services. Connect and interact with RESTful APIs for data exchange and user functionality. Collaborate with team to create high-quality user experiences. Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness across device types and platforms. 

Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented codebases using best practices. Diagnose & resolve performance, crash, and usability issues in released applications. 

Qualifications

• Proficient in either .NET MAUI / Xamarin (C#) or Flutter/Dart—ideally both. 
• Solid understanding of cross-platform mobile development concepts and UI design principles. 
• Experience with mobile app publishing processes, including signing, versioning, and deployment to iOS and Android stores.  
• Strong skills in using SQLite for local data persistence and offline-first application design.  
• Knowledge of Firebase, Push Notifications, or app analytics tools. 
• Proven ability to consume and integrate RESTful APIs in mobile applications.  
• Understanding of mobile performance optimization and platform-specific challenges. 
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.

• Ability to create and adhere to Detailed Design Documentation 
• Ability to self-motivate and work on their own initiative
