Search ML Engineer - 12660

We are looking for a skilled Search ML Engineer to join a cross-functional team of Data Scientists and Software Engineers. You will be responsible for improving the search experience for users across multiple markets by analyzing search data, training and deploying machine learning models, and running A/B tests to validate improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze large-scale search data across markets
• Identify and suggest improvements to current search systems
• Train, evaluate, and deploy ML models for search optimization
• Design and execute A/B tests to measure model impact
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams
• Take full ownership of the ML lifecycle – from analysis to production

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Proven experience in large-scale and complex search systems
• Track record of applying ML to real-world search problems
• Professional experience in Machine Learning and Data Science, including both classical and deep learning
• Hands-on experience with:
• Data & loss pattern analysis
• Feature engineering
• Model training and evaluation
• Deployment in production environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in English
• Willingness to relocate to or already reside in Sweden, preferably near Malmö

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with document retrieval, ranking, or pruning
• Knowledge of Lucene or similar search engines
• Background in Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Familiarity with Java and/or Scala
