Firmware Engineer – TinyML Specialist (Hybrid, Latvia)

We’re looking for a passionate Firmware Engineer to join our client's innovative hybrid team. You will work on cutting-edge ARM Cortex-M and RISC-V platforms, developing and deploying ultra-low-power TinyML models to bring intelligent capabilities to next-generation connected devices.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and optimize embedded firmware for IoT and smart devices using ARM Cortex-M0/M4 and RISC-V ultra-low-power cores
• Implement TinyML algorithms for sensor data processing, gesture/audio recognition, and secure encrypted inference
• Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and system engineering teams to integrate TinyML features seamlessly
• Support over-the-air updates and embedded UI logic to enhance device functionality
• Participate in firmware CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous quality improvement
• Hybrid work mode

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years professional experience in embedded firmware development
• Strong expertise in TinyML (2+ years) deployment on ARM Cortex-M and/or RISC-V microcontrollers
• Proficiency with IoT protocols, secure inference methods, and embedded system optimization
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and OTA update systems is a plus
• Ability to work cross-functionally in agile teams and communicate effectively in English
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
