Omani IT helpdesk Engineer (6 MONTHS TO 1 YEAR EXPERINCE)

• Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, or in person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Log all support requests and issues in the ticketing system and track their resolution.
• Set up new user accounts and manage access permissions.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of IT assets.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or specialized teams.
• Guide users through step-by-step solutions and provide basic IT training when required.
• Maintain system security and data integrity through regular updates and patches.
• Ensure adherence to IT policies and procedures.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and networking basics.
• Familiarity with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Customer-oriented and patient approach to problem-solving.
