Data Analyst

In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping our data strategy and driving value through actionable insights. You'll play a key role in running our procurement data platform, managing data pipelines, and delivering impactful analytics that enable smarter, faster decision-making.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, analytically sharp professional with deep expertise in data science and a solid understanding of procurement technology.

Key Responsibilities

Data Strategy & Technology Ownership

• Act as the go-to expert for our cloud-native data platform (GCP, Data Lake), liaising with technology teams to maintain and improve performance.

Data Analysis & Transformation

• Use tools like DBT, Vertex AI, and BigQuery to clean, transform, and analyse procurement data. Translate findings into meaningful insights across supplier performance, cost optimisation, and operations.

Reporting & Visualisation

• Create user-friendly dashboards and reports using Power BI and Looker to deliver actionable insights to both internal and external stakeholders.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to introduce automation, machine learning, and other emerging technologies to optimise processes and drive innovation.

Team Leadership

• Mentor and guide a team of analysts, supporting their development and ensuring excellence in delivery.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to align insights and analytics efforts with broader business goals.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science or related field
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP, DBT, Vertex AI, and BigQuery
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and dashboard tools like Power BI and Looker
• Familiarity with data governance, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and best practices
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills for translating complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Experience with agile delivery tools (e.g., Jira) and stakeholder engagement
