JAVA Developer
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Work Model: Hybrid (2–3 days per week on-site)
Project Duration: 3 Years (Starting January 2st, 2026)
Languages: Native / C2 Level of English
Eligibility: Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium

Key Skills And Experience
- 4 - 6 years of professional experience in Java development (including Spring Boot and REST APIs).
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
- Strong understanding of Microservice architecture and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Angular (or another modern front-end framework).
- Familiarity with cloud-native applications (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Solid understanding of database systems, SQL, and ORM technologies
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
- Experience in greenfield development or large-scale transformation projects.
- Familiarity with Reactive programming or Event-driven architectures.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.
- Design and develop high-quality Java applications for greenfield projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Implement best practices for software development, including coding standards and testing methodologies.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of software solutions.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality.
- Mentor junior developers and assist with troubleshooting and debugging efforts.
- Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies to improve development processes.
