ML Platform Engineer – Ethnical AI Client

Fully-Remote - Germany

Salary Range: €90,000 - €110,000

We are super excited to be conducting a search for a SME (PaaS) who are passionate about ethical AI. They have built an impressive AI governance platform which takes structured and unstructured data to help companies within regulated and unregulated fields create scalable and reliable AI compliant solutions.

With the growing demand of the platform with an extensive list of well-known partners they are looking to expand their Platform Team. It is not essential that you have worked in an AI company previously. Please apply if interested.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy and maintain a cloud-based ML training infrastructure (Slurm).
• Manage and optimise Kubernetes clusters to ensure the seamless orchestration of containerised applications
• Work with cloud platforms to deploy, monitor, and scale ML models effectively.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for robust, repeatable environments
• Create and implement CI/CD pipelines used for ML workloads.
• Work in cross-functional IT division of closely with data scientists, software engineers, SREs and Platform Engineers.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices to drive innovation within the Ops domain.

Ideal knowledge:

• Experience working with High-Performance Computing (HPC) setups.
• Skilled in AWS, GCP, or Azure; experience in multi-cloud and hybrid setups is a bonus.
• On-Prem: Familiarity with on-premises infrastructure and hybrid cloud.
• OS & Containers: Strong Linux knowledge; experience with Kubernetes, Docker.
• Programming: Rust, Python, or Golang.
• Monitoring & observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Loki etc).
• Automation & CI/CD: Experience with ML pipelines and tools like MLFlow, Kubeflow.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of security best practices in ML/Cloud environments.
