Clinical Project Manager Team Lead

Our client is a specialist Clinical Trial Site that plays a key role in improving global health through the expert management of clinical trials. Known for delivering high-quality, efficient, and patient-focused studies, they are now seeking an exceptional Team Lead to lead their Project Management team and drive the success of Clinical Trials.

This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing a portfolio of complex clinical trials, leading a team of Project Managers and ensuring trial delivery aligns with regulatory, financial, and operational objectives.

You will:

• Lead the full lifecycle of clinical trials, from bid defence to close-out
• Oversee study start-up, resourcing, and project execution with a strategic lens
• Develop and manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications
• Act as the escalation point for study-related matters with sponsors, CROs, and vendors
• Implement systems and processes to ensure GCP compliance, data accuracy, and milestone tracking
• Mentor and develop a high-performing clinical projects team

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in clinical trials, with senior project or program leadership responsibilities
• Background in Health, Science or related field
• Experience in managing Phase I and early-phase trials highly desirable
• Strong understanding of ICH-GCP, regulatory frameworks, and operational risk management
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
• A strategic mindset with a passion for improving trial outcomes and team performance
