Legal Counsel

• Law Degree
• 7-10 years of experience in an in-house environment or in private practice especially in Personal Data Protection Law, Compliance and Competition Law
• Strong knowledge in the fields of corporate law, contract law, data privacy
• Advanced level of professional English to manage contract review, reporting and internal/external correspondence processes
• Good at MS-Office applications
• High communication and negotiation skills, well-developed coordination and follow-up skills

Job Description

• Reporting to Chief Legal Counsel
• Providing legal consultancy, support and training services to relevant departments on all kinds of legal issues related to company activities
• Conducting contract preparation/review and negotiation processes
• Conducting corporate development and compliance policy preparation, updating and compliance monitoring studies
• Strengthening the in-house compliance culture and awareness, providing follow-up and guidance on compliance of company policies and transactions with legislation
• Following sectoral legislation and guiding relevant departments on current legislation requirements
• Controlling and coordinating the work carried out with external consultants and service procurement on necessary issues
