Consultant wanted for Workspace Designer Project:

Did you ever want to create amazing 3d game-like web apps in a startup-like environment?

We are seeking a skilled consultant to assist in the development of Workspace Designer.

Workspace Designer (https://webex.com/workspacedesigner) is a 3D-based web application that lets users design meeting rooms in their browser for Cisco collaboration devices, similar to the Ikea kitchen planner. It is developed by a small team at Cisco Lysaker.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in utilizing proper frameworks, creating efficient build pipelines, and possess strong knowledge in React.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team to design and implement solutions for Workspace Designer.
• Work closely with UX to create user friendly and innovative user experiences.
• Provide guidance and expertise in React to enhance product functionality.
• Push the browser to its limits using modern browser visualisation tools.
  
  

Skills And Experience

Must have

• At least 1-2 years relevant experience
• Strong proficiency in React, Typescript and related technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
  

Bonus requirements:

• Experience with Three.js and React Three Fiber, or WebGL.
• Experience with real time 3D applications on the web, and/or game development.
• Familiarity with 3D modelling workflows, such as Blender, UV mapping and performance optimizations for 3D.
