Software Engineer

About the Role

A Full Stack Developer is sought to join a well-established internal applications team, working on a key enterprise platform used across the organisation. You’ll be part of a close-knit, proactive team contributing to the development, enhancement, and support of a system critical to daily operations.

This is a hands-on role offering variety across both frontend and backend work, particularly focused on PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and C#. You’ll collaborate with Business Analysts and other developers to deliver clean, maintainable solutions that improve performance and user experience.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, offered as a total remuneration package of $143,000 (inclusive of super), with a hybrid work model requiring just 2 days per week in the office.

You Should Have

• Around 5 years of commercial experience in software development
• Strong PL/SQL development experience
• 4–5 years of experience with HTML and vanilla JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with C# in a backend or integration context
• Ability to contribute across the full development lifecycle
• Comfortable working closely with BAs and cross-functional teams
• A proactive, self-starting approach with strong communication skills

Nice to Have

• Apex Forms development experience
• Exposure to Agile and DevOps environments, ideally using Azure DevOps
• Background working on large-scale enterprise systems
• Interest in continuous improvement, clean code, and scalable design

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend components using PL/SQL and C#
• Build and maintain frontend features using HTML and JavaScript
• Work collaboratively with Business Analysts and developers to implement technical solutions
• Contribute to agile delivery cycles and ensure high-quality outputs
• Follow internal standards and best practices in code and documentation
• Assist with both project delivery and business-as-usual development
