Senior Project Manager- Data Centre Project

Västerås, Sweden

As Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead delivery of a major data centre project in Sweden. You will ensure the development is delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards while fostering a positive, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all stages of project delivery—from planning and procurement through to construction, commissioning, handover
• Manage overall project performance: cost, programme, quality, risk & opportunities
• Coordinate cross‑discipline teams including design, MEP, commercial, quality, H&S, and subcontractors
• Engage effectively with client stakeholders, consultants, and local authorities
• Maintain proactive safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Champion digital ways of working and Lean construction tools
• Mentor and develop internal team members, building future leaders
• Implement progress reporting, change control, forecasting, and issue resolution processes

Essential Experience

• Chartered or equivalent qualification in engineering, construction management, or related discipline
• Minimum 8–10 years’ experience managing large-scale construction projects—particularly data centres or similarly complex builds
• Proven track record in Europe/Nordic region
• Strong commercial acumen and experience with design & build or management contracting
• Excellent leadership, collaboration, communication in English (Swedish skills advantageous)
• Committed to H&S excellence and sustainable delivery
