Senior Dotnet Developer

We are seeking a developer who is eager to work on FinOps, including Back Office, Accounting, and Finance operations. While prior expertise is not a requirement, the ideal candidate should be willing to learn and grow in these areas. The candidate should possess a strong desire to explore various aspects of the business and engage with stakeholders on a regular basis.

In this role, you will join the APAC Development team based in Singapore. Your primary responsibility will be to work directly with the Client’s FinOps business users, providing them with daily system support and operational assistance. Additionally, you will be translating their business requirements into effective IT solutions.

The main applications you will be working on are built using C# and span frameworks from .NET 4.7 to .NET 8. While the primary focus will be on FinOps applications (Regulatory and Back Office), you will also contribute to local initiatives, such as Market Data scrapers, cloud CI/CD implementation, and supporting the Analytics team. Some familiarity with Python may be required for specific tasks.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Solid expertise in C# .Net programming language (at least 8+ years of experience).
• Very strong understanding of the core language and framework
• Service oriented development (WCF, Web API or ASMX)
• Data access development (ADO.NET, EF or equivalent such as NHibernate)
• Extensive SQL Server database design and development skills (excellent SQL skills assumed). A good working knowledge of database performance optimization is also required.
• Experience with PowerShell.
• Experience working with agile delivery methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban.
• Experience with Microsoft-based BI stack, including SSIS, SSRS and Power BI is desirable.
• Experience with Azure PaaS and IaaS and corresponding automation toolkits is desirable.
• Experience in REST API design and development.
• Knowledge of at least one cloud architecture (AWS or Azure) as a developer.
• Familiarity with a trading environment (Front Office, Middle Office, or Back Office), ideally in commodity trading.
• Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly Agile methodologies.
