Join Zimmermann's dynamic Store Planning & Delivery team as a Senior Project Manager and play a pivotal role in expanding our global retail presence. You'll be instrumental in overseeing the successful delivery of our exciting new stores across China, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

This role will be the central point of contact, orchestrating efforts between our esteemed external retail design partner and key internal stakeholders. Your expertise in project management will ensure on-time delivery and seamless execution of multiple projects.


Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively maintain the new store, wholesale project, maintenance, and store refurbishment schedule.
  • Prepare new store briefing pack for store designers.
  • Create and manage internal critical path incorporating the building program, associated consultants such as AoR, security, and WHS.
  • Identify external providers required, manage contract negotiation and implementation of services such as AoR, GCs, security, WHS, and utilities.
  • Manage budget and financial aspect of projects with the appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Store Designer to manage acquisition, transport and delivery of client supplied items such as artworks and furniture.
  • Liaise with retail operations team to ensure new store checklists are progressing in line with store openings.
  • Responsible for store maintenance, including budgets and maintaining a directory of vendors globally.


What you will bring to the role:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in retail, ideally in a project’s role, working successfully with large internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience in building project management ideally within the retail/consumer industry.
  • Experience in identifying correct suppliers, contract negotiation, and a basic understanding of retail leases.
  • Good understanding of shop fit-out builds with the with the ability to interpret architectural designs appropriately.
  • Extremely organised, methodical, and self-motivated.
