DevOps Engineer

Role: DevOps / Software Engineer (m/w/d)

Location: 100% Remote, NRW HQ. Always welcomed in the office!

Experience: Junior – Mid-level

Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 yearly package + perks

About the company:

We are working with an exciting SME backed by a large financial group in Germany who have built an AI-driven PaaS. After partnering directly with NVIDIA to build their own GPU cluster, they are building their own LLM infrastructure which will be deployed into their customers across the EU.

You will be responsible for a ChatGPT like product used in companies of varying sizes. This is a huge opportunity for somebody to join an environment to learn, cross-collaborate and deploy high activity on massive data sets

Your tasks:

• Support the running of a big distributed Generative AI Platform from a DevOps POC.
• Create new Kubernetes deployments.
• Optimise the monitoring and observability processes.
• Implementation and analysis of load tests.
• Improve software resilience.
• Maintain application deployments.
• Set-up and Maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline delivery processes and reduce time to market.
• Improve existing deployments.
• Run and optimise the rollout process.

Requirements:

• This role is open to fresh graduates or people already with professional experience.
• It’s a must to have worked with Kubernetes: Set-up deployments, ran apps with K8s etc.
• You are passionate about Software Engineering + creating good quality code.
• Programming knowledge in Python, Java or any OOP language.
• You must have a min of a BSc Degree in a relevant field.
• Good exposure to server infrastructures (on-premise) & Public clouds.
• It’s essential that you can work in a remote setting.
• You must be Fluent German speaking.
