We are seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our client's hybrid team developing and optimizing firmware for next-generation industrial control systems built on RISC-V architectures. You will work closely with hardware and systems teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions for complex automation challenges.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, test, and optimize embedded firmware targeting RISC-V processors in industrial automation devices.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure tight integration between firmware and custom silicon.
• Implement low-level drivers, bootloaders, and real-time control applications.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug system-level issues across hardware and software.
• Support continuous integration, testing, and deployment pipelines.

You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in RISC-V or similar architectures.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, with knowledge of hardware interfaces and embedded toolchains.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) or bare-metal firmware development.
• Familiarity with debugging tools such as JTAG, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols and standards is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a hybrid work environment.

Nice to have:

• Prior experience working in industrial automation or related sectors.
• Knowledge of hardware design and schematics.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems and version control workflows.
