Agile Coach

• Daily Rate: $985 + Super
• Contract Duration: Until 30 June 2026
• Location: Parramatta & Sydney Olympic Park (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach to join a dynamic NSW State Government agency. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and support Agile transformation initiatives across teams and departments, driving a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

As an Agile Coach, you will work closely with delivery teams, leadership, and stakeholders to embed Agile principles, frameworks, and best practices. You will play a key role in mentoring Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to enhance Agile maturity and delivery effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide teams and leadership in Agile practices, frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), and mindset.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, workshops, and training sessions.
• Assess Agile maturity and develop tailored coaching plans.
• Support the adoption of Agile tools and metrics to track progress and performance.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Act as a change agent to remove impediments and promote Agile values across the organisation.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as an Agile Coach in complex, multi-team environments.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, etc.).
• Excellent facilitation, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working in or with government or large-scale organisations is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
