Overview:

A leading global investment bank is seeking highly motivated Analysts to join its Frankfurt-based Investment Banking team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile M&A and strategic advisory transactions across a range of industries in a dynamic, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis and valuation of companies using methodologies such as DCF, LBO, and comparable company analysis.
• Prepare high-quality client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation.
• Support the execution of live transactions, including due diligence, process coordination, and client interaction.
• Monitor market trends and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant sectors and financial developments.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across functions and geographies to deliver seamless client service.

Candidate Profile:

• Undergraduate degree with a strong academic record; a focus in finance, business, accounting, economics, or mathematics is preferred.
• Prior experience in investment banking (corporate finance/M&A) or a closely related field is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills, with a strong grasp of accounting and financial concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to value businesses and interpret financial statements.
• High level of motivation and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; strong financial reporting skills are essential.
• Fluency in English and German is required
