Job Title: DevOps Engineer with Windows Server

Total Experience Required: 6+ years in Information Technology/Computers/Software

Relevant Experience Required:

• 2+ years in Windows Server, Active Directory and Windows-based services
• 4+ years in Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes

Job Type: Contract

Contract Duration: A minimum duration of 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension up to 18 months or beyond, depending on project requirements.

Workplace Type: Hybrid (at least 3 times a week at office)

Languages Required: English

Visa/Work Authorization Status: Candidates must hold a valid work permit or visa to work in the Switzerland

Work Location: Bioggio, Switzerland

1. Must be currently based in Switzerland, or
2. Willing to relocate to Switzerland from anywhere within Europe or the UK

We are hiring a skilled DevOps Engineer to support a Windows-based cloud transformation project. This is a full-time contract role ideal for professionals with deep experience in cloud platforms, Windows infrastructure, and DevOps practices. The role focuses on migrating, automating, and securing systems within an OCI cloud environment, ensuring scalability and performance throughout the transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of Windows applications and infrastructure to OCI
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools
• Define infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible
• Containerize Windows-based services with Docker and manage with Kubernetes
• Monitor application performance and ensure compliance and security standards are upheld
• Collaborate with development and product teams to streamline cloud transformation
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues

Essential Skills

• Expertise in cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Windows-based services
• Strong proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipeline development using GitHub, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
• Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python, or Bash

Optional Skills

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK
• Experience with container orchestration in hybrid Windows/Linux environments
• Knowledge of cloud-native security best practices
• Exposure to Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and documentation skills
