We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our team in Dubai, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting our in-house and remote workforce, ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws, and fostering a positive, collaborative workplace environment.
As an HR Specialist at FundingPips, you’ll be instrumental in managing HR operations, supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. You will also ensure HR practices align with UAE labor law and company policies. This role requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of UAE HR regulations and the ability to handle both expatriate and hybrid work arrangements.
Expat & Hybrid Workforce Management
- Manage procedures related to UAE work permits, residence visas, and government inquiries.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with UAE regulations.
- Facilitate onboarding for new hires, including expatriates, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with outsourcing companies for contractor hiring, visa processing, and terminations.
- Ensure legal compliance for contractors, handling all necessary documentation.
- Maintain employee databases on Bayzat, overseeing data accuracy and compliance with UAE regulations.
- Administer medical insurance processes for new joiners and terminations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Handle daily HR admin tasks, including leave management, benefits administration, and employee documentation.
- Implement and manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate distribution in line with UAE labor laws and company policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve payroll-related inquiries and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Conduct HR audits, prepare for external reviews, and ensure HR practices are legally compliant.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, conducting interviews, and shortlisting candidates.
- Work closely with department heads to fill open positions, manage the ATS, and forecast staffing needs.
- Support the annual internship program from recruitment to completion.
- Coordinate with regional training teams to deliver up-to-date programs and develop an annual in-house training plan.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations for employee training, travel, and expenses.
- Maintain and update training records for compliance and continuous improvement.
- Assist with performance management, employee issues, and engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Plan and organize HR events, coordinate onboarding logistics, and enhance employee engagement.
- Monitor UAE labor laws to update company policies, ensuring ongoing compliance.
- Provide support in handling employee issues, ensuring adherence to labor regulations.
- Track employee performance, turnover, and attendance, providing metrics and reports for management.
- Maintain HR documentation and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Work closely with the HR Psychologist Manager to implement HR strategies that promote employee well-being and organizational effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on UAE labor laws and expatriate management.
- Proven experience managing hybrid and expatriate work arrangements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with HR systems, including applicant tracking and employee management tools.
