Senior Network Consultant

We do business in over 20 countries around the world, delivering our services to Tier 1 and Tier 2 mobile network operators and vendors.

We're looking for a Consulting Engineer to join a high-impact enterprise project in Milan. You will play a key role in helping customers plan, design, and implement complex network infrastructure solutions, while driving digital transformation and operational excellence.

Location: Milan (Hybrid)

Contract Type: Freelance / B2B

Duration: 12 Months (with potential extension)

Languages Required: Italian & English

Your Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to design and optimize network architectures.
• Support network deployments, upgrades, and strategic migrations in hybrid environments.
• Lead the creation and approval of design documentation, implementation plans, and change management processes.
• Build test environments to troubleshoot complex compatibility issues.
• Deliver knowledge transfers, operational documentation, and performance reports.
• Provide pre-sales input and translate business needs into tailored technical solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5–8 years of experience in network engineering, technical consulting, or infrastructure delivery.
• Strong hands-on skills in routing & switching, data center technologies, and network architecture.
• Able to troubleshoot at a high level before engaging escalation support.
• Comfortable creating both high-level and low-level technical designs.
• Familiar with scripting tools, automation, and data anonymization best practices.
• Fluent in Italian and English, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Professional certifications such as CCNP or equivalent are highly valued.
