About the Role…
Are you passionate about making a difference and bringing people together? As the Human Resources Coordinator at NASCA, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience and championing our people-focused values. Based in our Redfern or Dubbo office (with hybrid flexibility), you’ll work closely with our People & Culture Manager and Operations team to make NASCA a place where our employees thrive!
What Your Days Will Look Like…
- Recruitment Support – Take an active role in our recruitment journey, from posting job ads to scheduling interviews, and helping ensure candidates feel connected throughout the process.
- People Connection – Manage the NASCA employment inbox, responding to vacancy and recruitment queries, and support our People & Culture Manager with Employment Hero (HRIS) to ensure smooth, accessible HR processes for all.
- Engagement and Culture – Assist to drive engagement by coordinating meaningful employee events and initiatives that celebrate our unique culture.
- Onboarding and Training – Collaborate to make our onboarding process memorable, and assist with training bookings, events, and employee development support.
- Broader HR Support – Help with HR projects, maintain compliance with confidentiality policies, and manage admin tasks like contract variations, leave applications, and more.
Who You Are…
You’re a people-first, detail-driven HR professional who meets the following criteria:
- Experience in an HR role
- An understanding of the unique experiences and issues facing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, ideally with experience supporting Indigenous youth
- Good interpersonal skills and a talent for building strong, supportive relationships
- Great organisation and time management abilities, with a natural eye for detail
- Proactive problem-solving skills paired with a willingness to follow directions
- A deep-rooted passion for people and a desire to drive initiatives that make a positive impact
