About the Role:
We are seeking a Security Specialist to lead and execute third-party cyber risk assessments of the client's global suppliers. This role involves providing specialized expertise in assessing risks, identifying gaps, and proposing security solutions to mitigate third-party risks. The Security Specialist may also participate in moderate to high complexity department initiatives, offering reporting, analysis, and risk assessments at functional, business line, or enterprise levels.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with risk stakeholders to scope and initiate third-party cyber risk assessments for suppliers across all risk levels.
Lead or support third-party cyber risk assessments at the application, portfolio, or enterprise level.
Communicate cyber risk findings to both internal and external stakeholders.
Identify, coordinate, and validate risk mitigation and remediation strategies with stakeholders.
Ensure assessments align with internal standards, industry frameworks, and best practices.
Provide guidance on Technology Controls and Information Security policies and incidents.
Support the development and oversight of a global third-party cyber security management strategy.
Maintain adherence to internal policies, standards, and applicable regulations.
Assist in reviewing internal processes to identify improvements.
Promote strong risk awareness and control culture across the organization.
Qualifications:
Must Have:
8+ years of experience in Information Security or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in third-party cyber risk assessments
Deep expertise in IT security, technology controls, and risk practices
Experience leading or participating in large-scale, complex projects
Ability to serve as an expert resource for teams, business units, and external vendors
Nice to Have:
Information Security Certification/Accreditation (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC)
