Project Leadership

  • Define and implement the roadmap for Edge/Cloud infrastructure transformation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, track project milestones, and report progress.
  • Promote Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies as needed.
  • Foster collaboration with Software Architects, Technical Leads, Product Owners, Product Managers, and UX Designers.


Technical Leadership: Edge Platform & DevOps

  • Lead mid-scale migrations with minimal disruption, focusing on performance, security, and cost.
  • Establish and evolve DevOps practices, tools, and frameworks to boost developer productivity and agility.
  • Oversee CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation strategies to speed up software delivery.
  • Continuously improve cloud performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance developer reliability and efficiency.
  • Guide enterprise-scale edge and DevOps transformations.
  • Define best practices for infrastructure, deployment, and operations within the IoT platform.


Team Leadership

  • Mentor and develop team members, supporting career growth and progression.
  • Provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and maintain open communication.


What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps, particularly in manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency with PTC Kepware, ThingWorx, and integrating them into GitLab/Hub CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenStack VM, VMware, Red Hat OSV, and CAAS infrastructure.
  • Expertise in managing containerized applications and CAAS platforms.
  • Background in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains.
  • Deep knowledge of database high availability (PostgreSQL, InfluxDB), including legacy-to-cloud migrations.
  • Skilled in performance monitoring and optimization for scalability.
  • Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, containers, and cloud architectures.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
  • Understanding of AWS and hybrid/multi-cloud strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale transformation initiatives in complex enterprise settings.
