Dotnet Developer

We are hiring for a Dotnet Developer for one of our Federal Clients.

Role: Dotnet Developer

Location of work: Sydney and Melbourne (work 2 days from office and 3 days from home each week)

Contract duration: 12 months + 12 months extension.

Security clearance: Australian Citizen (client intend to process Baseline security clearance after onboarding)

Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Analyse business requirements and contribute to technical solution design using Microsoft .NET technologies.

• Develop, test, and deploy secure, scalable, and high-performing .NET applications. • Design and build RESTful APIs and services to support frontend platforms and integration needs. • Ensure application solutions are in line with architectural standards, coding best practices, and security/privacy policies.

• Support the delivery of WCAG and other compliance requirements as per ASIC’s digital standards. • Create and maintain solution documentation, coding standards, and reusable components. • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including business analysts, testers, solution architects, and project stakeholders.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain accurate reporting on progress, risks, and issues.

Qualifications and experience:

• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise web applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.

• Strong experience in ASP.NET MVC/Web API, Entity Framework, and LINQ. • Proficiency with front-end web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks (e.g., React or Angular).

• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservice architecture.

• Strong experience with SQL Server, database design, and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines).

• Good understanding of security, accessibility, and privacy standards in application development.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to work independently and take accountability for project deliverables.
