Project Manager

The purpose of this role is to lead & own project definition and end-to-end delivery activities within the Manufacturing Engineering domain for leading Aerospace OEM based out of south Germany region.

The successful candidate needs to ensure end-to-end delivery of the project from technical, administrative and customer expectations management front and collaboratively manage the teams, utilizing their strengths and ensuring their growth throughout the project.

Responsibilities:

• Team: Manage project team across geographies (Germany + India) to ensure project execution excellence
• Business Delivery: Ensure adherence to customer KPIs across the project and take decisions to proactively identify deviations and fix issues
• Business Growth: Develop customer connect and represent TATA at customer interaction forums for mission extension
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and technical experts, to ensure collect, collate and synthesize information relevant for project delivery.
• Developing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitoring project progress and providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.
• Conducting quality assurance reviews to ensure that the project meets quality standards.
• Managing project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and other project-related documentation.
• Providing leadership and guidance to the project team to ensure that they are motivated and working effectively towards project goals.

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in aerospace project management, with a track record of successful project deliveries.
• Strong understanding of aerospace industry standards, regulations, safety and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is desirable, but not essential.
• Knowledge and experience to apply and adapt Agile tools and techniques towards project execution based on its complexity.
• Understanding of Mfg. process & methods, along with associated systems and constituent value streams
