DevOps Engineer

Humbility is an algorithmic cryptocurrency arbitrage trading firm specializing in DeFi and CeFi across multiple chains and exchanges. We are a market-neutral trading company that develops low-latency arbitrage trading bots in a very competitive environment.

Our highly motivated and skilled team of 50 software engineers and data analysts is passionate about solving mathematical and logical challenges. To win in a low-latency game at the microsecond level, we are constantly looking for new technological solutions and improving our infrastructure and code performance. We are hiring DevOps engineers interested in mathematics and infrastructure optimization.

In this position, you will:

• Drive infrastructure resource efficiency: Measure, surface, and reduce waste across compute, storage, and network.
• Improve cost effectiveness: Optimize usage patterns, scaling policies, and commercial commitments across environments.
• Provide cost visibility & accountability: Attribute spend by team/service and monitor trends to inform decisions.
• Strengthen automation & operational tooling: Feed utilization and cost signals into provisioning, configuration, and developer workflows.
• Improve CI/CD processes: Increase speed, reliability, and safety of build/test/deploy pipelines.
• Support broader DevOps/SysOps operations—deployment, reliability, and incident response—as priorities evolve.

We expect you to have:

• At least one year of working experience with Kubernetes (self-managed using tools like Rancher or hosted in a major cloud provider);
• At least one year of working experience with one of the major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure);
• Capability to develop scripts in Python or Golang
• Familiarity with Terraform (HCL), Ansible, Helm, Git, GitHub Actions, Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch and similar tools
• Strong mathematical skills and passion for solving complex problems;
• Ability and motivation to learn new concepts quickly;
• Proficiency in English and Lithuanian languages;
• Availability to work on-site at our Simbiocity Vilnius office.

You will stand out if you have (not required):

• Experience with multi-cloud infrastructure (networking, configuration, cost monitoring and optimization);
• Experience with the Linux kernel TCP/IP stack;
• Experience with bare-metal server provisioning and maintenance;
• Experience with cryptocurrencies and blockchains;
• Achievements showcasing your mathematical skills.

The salary range for this position is €3,000 – €6,000 gross per month.
