Network Engineer

Job Title: Network Engineer (Cisco – CCNP) MEDIOR

Location: Arnhem, Netherlands (2–3 days on-site, remainder remote)

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Language Requirement: Fluent in Dutch

About the Role:

We’re looking for a skilled Network Engineer with strong Cisco expertise to join a close-knit and motivated team based in Arnhem. In this role, you'll design, implement, and support complex network solutions across a dynamic IT landscape. You’ll work on innovative, business-critical projects and have the opportunity to continuously develop yourself both technically and professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain Cisco-based network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, routers)
• Monitor network performance, resolve incidents, and perform root cause analysis
• Implement changes and upgrades with minimal downtime
• Ensure high availability and security of network services
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams
• Maintain network documentation and follow best practices
• Support network-related projects and migrations

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies
• Valid CCNP certification (or equivalent experience)
• Familiar with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPNs, VLANs, and Cisco ASA or Firepower
• Understanding of network security and segmentation
• Able to work independently and take ownership
• Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written)
