Agile Coach
Location: Warren, NJ with occasional international travel
Salary: $100-140K plus excellent benefits package
This position is based full-time in Warren, NJ for the first 3 months and then can be hybrid remote 2 days per week.

As part of a strategic initiative to standardise data, processes, and management information, a transformative programme has been launched to centralise operations and IT systems. The goal is to establish a single, scalable operational solution across the Group.
Key Requirements
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Agile Coach with a strong technical background and hands-on expertise in Agile methodologies and DevOps. You will support diverse international teams to embed Agile practices that deliver early working software and generate business value.
Essential skills and experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Agile Coach
- Minimum 2 years in a Scrum Master role
- 10+ years’ experience working on IT projects
- Proven experience in large-scale projects, including offshore collaboration
- Strong knowledge of Scrum, (Kanban is a plus), and other Agile methodologies (Lean, XP, DAD, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus)
- DevOps mindset with experience coaching development teams
- Proficiency in tools and techniques such as:
- TDD, BDD, Unit testing
- Design Patterns
- Azure DevOps (Required)
- At least one recognised Agile certification
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural and distributed team environment
- Background or interest in the shipping/transport industry (preferred)
Role and Responsibilities
As a member of the Agile Coaching team, you will drive the adoption of Agile values and practices across core IT teams and key stakeholders.
Agile and DevOps Coaching:
- Lead Agile transformations from traditional Waterfall methodologies
- Coach teams on Agile values, continuous improvement, collaboration, and value-driven delivery
- Support programme management and PMO teams in Agile planning and delivery techniques
- Guide teams in adopting frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS and Nexus
- Facilitate Agile workshops using techniques like Agile serious games and liberating structures
Training and Development:
- Deliver structured Agile training for newcomers and existing team members
- Tailor ad hoc workshops based on team-specific needs
- Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning across teams
